About us

A professional, approachable team committed to taking your riding to the level you're truly capable of.

Snowbound's philosophy rests on one firm principle: real progress comes from a clear, structured method, not from endless trial and error without direction. Our approach combines technical analysis, a proven methodology, and close support to genuinely transform how each rider trains and evolves.

Snowbound is an innovative way to evolve: we build riders who understand, apply, and progress with confidence.

Before I turned one, my dad used to carry me on his back while he skied, and something about that stuck with me. I started on skis, and at 12 I tried snowboarding — I never picked up skis again. Nine years ago I started training as a snowboard instructor, and three years ago I founded my own school, Snow Riders Academy.

Once a student hits a certain level, an in-person lesson isn't enough. Technique demands understanding, follow-up, analysis, and corrections — and getting all of that purely through in-person lessons can get expensive fast. That's why I wanted to build a clear, structured, accessible system to help you reach your best riding.

It's hard to sum up what snowboarding means in one word, but if I had to pick one, it'd be freedom. For me, snowboarding is how I switch off, feel alive, and connect with people who share the same passion. There's a unique energy up on the mountain you don't find anywhere else.

I was lucky enough to go to the mountains as a kid — by six I was already on a board I never wanted to get off. After finishing school I started doing seasons and working as an instructor; today I coach at a club and train other instructors, but really, I still ride to keep enjoying it the way I did on day one.

With this course we want to raise awareness about riding with purpose — enjoying a technique that makes your riding look good, which can be hard to find on the slopes. We also want to support riders who feel stuck and want to take their level a step further.

Snowboarding was born out of pure enjoyment, and I don't think it's about anything more than that. It's great to share it with others, and it can turn any stranger into a friend. And the mountain itself is incredible — though it always deserves the respect it's due.

10+ years as an instructorSports Science graduate (CAFD)

I started skiing at 13, and at 18 I tried snowboarding — I remember a magic day that brought back all my excitement for the mountains. I finished my Sports Science degree and headed straight to the mountain to teach and ride as much as I could. That was 10 years ago, and I've been sharing what I know with thousands of students ever since.

For me, the main goal of this course is to train and improve riders' technique and enjoyment online, consistently, through personalized follow-up — keeping motivation high and making sure the whole process is a conscious evolution.

For me, snowboarding is the ultimate expression of freedom in nature — a fun way to stop thinking and enjoy it like a kid again. That moment when you tighten your bindings and lock in for the run down feels like hitting start on your favorite video game.

We live this passion every day — now it's your turn.
